Argentina, 1980. Ana, a teenage girl whose father was taken by the military regime, wants to taste life and fulfill her desire to dance. She is torn by her wish of a colorful life and the monotone wait of her mother and grandmother in their stuffy apartment. In this film we had to recreate the atmosphere of Buenos Aires of the 80s, which required a lot of creativity and attention to details in the location of the filming which was actually the city Beer Sheva. The award winning short film also included a few dancing scenes that required capturing different styles, genres, and moments. A unique technique was used in the filming to capture the dancing from multiple angles at the same time was used - by breaking a mirror and using the shards in front of the camera, we were able to capture the dancer reflection moving from one shard to another. This technique was influenced by the principle of Camera Obscura which includes two mirrors that are not broken. This film was funded by NFCT.
